Well, guess what?  I have completed the basic migration of the site over to WordPress.  “Why?” you might ask, as if you cared.  As much as I like having my entire site coded by myself from the ground up, it made adding more features that would help with the blog-related aspects of the site very time consuming.  With WordPress, I am able to use my free time writing posts on my blog here, instead of working on the blog itself.  Plus, I would rather experiment with new simple PHP application ideas that pop into my mind every now and then.  I was able to transfer the template from the previous site over to WordPress without much visual change, except where it made it look better.  I hope you enjoy the theme, as I am never satisfied with it (any suggestions are welcome).

By using WordPress, I should be able to post (hopefully) a little more frequently, as this is something that I want to do, but had trouble finding time/motivation to do.  This has also enabled me to add more little widget things to the site that display my activity from other areas of the web (see My Lifestream).

So anyway, enough with this mandatory first post.  Enjoy the rest of your web day, and I will hopefully start posting content soon!
