Why Homestar14? Short story, actually. Back a long time ago, in a place known only as home, I needed a new AOL/AIM screenname, as my old one was, well, childish. So I thought for a bit about what it should be, and I decided that I liked the internet cartoon Homestar Runner enough, that my SN should be named after that. Obviously simple names like “Homestar” were not available, so I did what any kid would do, add numbers to the end. I was fourteen at the time, so I added a “14″ to the end of the name, and behold it was available!

So, that’s about it. I’ve used that username for almost everything since then, although I don’t watch Homestar Runner as much as I used to. The name has just become my internet persona, and it will most likely stay that way for the rest of my life.
